Our second Open Workshop, “FORENSOR Awareness Workshop”, took place on the 11th of January 2019 in Spain at the premises of Valencia Local Police with the aim of disseminating and validating the final release of the FORENSOR system (final platform).
The workshop consisted of two parts: one more theoretical, that took place at Valencia Local Police’s premises, to present the FORENSOR technological solution to all the stakeholders, and the second, consisting of a practical demonstration of the relevant functionalities of the tool in a real operational scenario. The use case focused on the detection of accidents and of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol in the road of El Palmar in the Albufera Natural Park. The idea was to get a higher impact while showing a practical demo to all workshop attendants.
Thus, this international workshop served a double purpose: on the one hand, to disseminate the final release of the FORENSOR system to a selected group of stakeholders, involved in the fight against crime: law enforcement authorities, public authorities, universities and technological institutes, on the other hand, to validate and collect feedbacks from experts on the functionalities of the FORENSOR system.
