The FORENSOR project issued today a report on workshops organised by the project to date:
|FORENSOR Deliverable D9.5 “1st Workshop Report” (Work Package 9 – Dissemination and Exploitation)|
FORENSOR aims to offer breakthrough forensic capabilities through the provision of a novel, autonomous and easily deployable miniaturized sensor for forensic evidence gathering. A series of disruptive innovations have been employed originating from FORENSOR’s ability to cover modern operational LEA requirements, and validate the resulting sensor through a series of pilots in real operational environments.
The creation of a new product category in the surveillance industry could foster the competitiveness of European security industry in the European (initially) and global (subsequently) markets. The innovative features of FORENSOR Platform will be suitable for covering surveillance in remote and hostile environments with limited or no infrastructure, focusing on low cost and easy deployment.
Within this scenario, to better support the increase of the awareness around the FORENSOR project results, two Workshops have been planned in Italy; the first one a scientific Workshop supported by CERTH, and the second one a Workshop open and targeted specifically to end users supported by ALMAVIVA.
The document describes in detail these two workshops covering all aspects from preparation and organisation to participation and outcomes.
